After a busy half term I've been itching to get to my desk to make this scrapbook page which has been rattling around in my head. I've been inspired by Julie Kirk's yellow series "A Month of Sunrays" over on her blog and then when I saw this fantastic yellow chevron paper in the latest Quirky Kit, I knew the page I wanted to make. The paper is from Amy Tangerine's line with American Crafts. The line with hearts on was cut from the bottom of the paper too.
And as for this gorgeous hearts washi tape... the bag of embellishments in the Quirky Kit was sealed with this little piece of tape and so I very carefully peeled it off to use it on the layout. I think I need a buy a roll of hearts washi tape now though! If you are looking for ideas on how to use washi tape, check out MelStampz's blog post here - It's amazing!

ReplyDeleteLovely LO and brilliant to salvage the washi tape from the bag.
ReplyDeleteI've been inspired by Julie's Month of Sunrays too - we must all be in need of a little sunshine.
Thanks for the mention Emy and for the virtual sunshine. Love it.
ReplyDeleteAnd I always love those little decorative trims on 12x12s too.
